Kayak Tool Box

The Kayak tool box is a great add for any kayak. Made from very tough Nylon, the box can withstands the harshest elements.

The hinge joints are connected with stainless steel bolts so no corrosion or rusting.

The lid is covered with 4mm soft rubber so that working on the lid is comfortable and easy.

There are also measurements in cm and inches that will help with measuring your catch. The Tool box has a overlapping lid so rain and water splash wont affect the contents.

There are also four Shaped indents for securing the toolbox to the kayak. Overall a great add for any fisherman that needs that little extra storage space.

Are you over spending endless money on costly rapalas, lures, grubs, and jigs only to have them lost to rocks, fish or seals after a day on the water? Are you tired of going home with an empty hatch at the end of the day because you had the wrong lure with the wrong colour and size to bring home a great catch? Or are you bummed that you didn’t catch anything because the DIY “live bucket” you used to keep your bait fish alive didn’t have enough oxygen circulating so the fish were too weak and sluggish to do their job when you dropped them in the water?

If you answered “Yes!” to any of these questions, our Live Bait Tankwell is here to help you bring your A-game to the water. Not only does using strong swimming live bait from an oxygenated tankwell bring down your running costs and allow for financial saving, you also up your chances of filling your hatch with a much more enticing live lure that does most of the work in the water for you, freeing up your time and energy even more.

How does it work? Simply hit the ‘on’ switch and a high-output pump begins to circulate aerated water to keep your bait alive. It’s battery operated, with an added bonus being the ability to recharge your battery (battery and charger are not included). The adjustable downspout controls water levels by draining excess water in the 23-litre tankwell. When you’re done for the day, hit the ‘off’ button, pull the release valve to drain the water, and rinse the inside with some fresh water.

Included in the kit is two vertical rod holders with mounting brackets already fitted to the back of the tankwell. Heavy-duty webbing straps ensure your live bait well is securely fitted to your cargo area.

Made to sit in the cargo area of Vanhunks Shad, Pike, Mahi Mahi, and Orca kayaks, installation onto the kayak is easy via the existing scupper holes at the stern. The tank itself — without water or bait — weighs just 6,2kg with a width of 43cm, height of 34cm, and length of 51cm.
